Family funeral business Miles and Daughters Funeral Directors, which has served the communities of Reading, Wokingham. Twyford, Bracknell, Crowthorne and Maidenhead and surrounding areas for 20 years, has joined the growing Funeral Partners family.
Established in 1999 by Adam Miles the business has seen steady growth over the years and now has 6 funeral homes. Sadly Adam himself died in 2018 but we are delighted that his manager Sarah White will continue to manage the business for Funeral Partners alongside the dedicated team and community support from the Miles family.
Chief Executive Sam Kershaw said, “I am proud that a business with such an excellent reputation for high standards, caring for the bereaved and supporting the local community has chosen to join us. Families can be assured the Miles and Daughters team will deliver the same efficiency, professionalism and personal care to the community”.

St John Bosco, Woodley. Tuesday 18th December 2018, 7.00pm.
Miles and Daughters are very proud to announce that we have reached our 10 year anniversary.
We all celebrated together at an elegant black tie banquet where over 120 of our friends and colleagues including, doctors, ministers, gravediggers, mortuary staff, crematorium staff and many other people related to the company all joined together in their very best frocks and bow ties to enjoy what turned out to be a very enjoyable evening.
We only hope that we are lucky enough to serve families for another 10 years and are able to the celebrate the next milestone together!
Once again, we are proud to have been able to bring the horses out for another beautifully conducted funeral. This was quite unusual because the family of the deceased chose to use our horse drawn mourners carriage as well as the glass coach. We really caused a stir as we drove through Bracknell in the winter sun!
Our new huge billboard advertisement has now been published. Beginning with Gosbrook Road in Caversham and rolling out throughout Reading, this campaign is designed to raise awareness of M&D and to let people know that we are in Caversham Road. Judging by the very positive response so far, it is fair to say that our aim has been achieved!
